Barcelona is my favorite futbol team outside of England, so I am really excited to get a chance to see them play at their world famous stadium Nou Camp! Wilsa Krakow is a much smaller club, and should lose to Barcelona, but you never know, thats why they play the game!
With my changing plans I will now go spend three days in Madrid and Toledo before making my way back to Barcelona to see the match. From there I have no idea where I am going to go, except that I know I need to start making my way east. If you have any sugestions about places in southern France, Switzerland, or northern Italy let me know!

Carcassonne in southern France is a beautiful old town with huge battlements. Lucerne in Switzerland is almost fairy tale beautiful, but Switzerland is one of the most expensive countries.

I echo Dad's suggestions. There is a hostel in Carcassonne which is INSIDE the walls of the old city. We both thought of you and your love of castles when we visited there.
I'm so glad you enjoyed biking in the Ring of Kerry area - your mileage there was MUCH more than mine, I'm sure! But it was lovely.

unfortunately from what I have read the monte carlo requires you to be in suite and tie to enter, and I for somereason did not pack any such outfit...I am quite devastatedactually over this ;)

Well, that may be the requirement for most people...but you're Carl. I'm sure they'd make an exception!!
By the way, fingers crossed, but Tarvaris looked pretty good in his three offensive series in the Vikings' first preseason game. Hopefully, he can keep that going!
